Pregnant birds are apparently still sexy because I've been asked to do a photo-shoot next week, picture release date to correspond with the announcement of Ireland's match schedule in this year's Euro Cup. Despite the fact that Ireland continues to perform acceptably without my contribution, having an unwed cargo carrier ex-Chaser is the more appropriate subject matter for a promo story than, let's say... the fact that they are still hanging in there.

But I'm not complaining. I'm excited! Not being able to play Quidditch has me feeling stagnant. Also, I confess to missing all the attention being an International Quidditch Player brings. I can't wait to get back on the pitch next season.

I want to start exercising again. This bump is getting far too big far too quickly and you're not allowed to let me get fat. I refuse to end up like a beached whale, so no more bacon sandwiches unless I'm earning them. Can't keep sitting around the house stuffing my gob; I need to be active again. And if the last few days are any indication, I think it's safe to venture away from the toilet for longer than an hour. Hike along the Cliffs of Mohr this weekend?

Well, there's no doubt about it: I'm pregnant. As evidenced by frequent peeing and a forced religious conversion to the gods of porcelain. Oh toilet spirits, accept my humble devotions of the contents of my stomach and save me from this terror!

I'm fatter than I've ever been in my entire life. Sooner or later I'm going to need different clothes (before Adrian realises I've been nicking his jeans). Come shopping with me?

Knocked up and alone tonight, fully expecting to take Ade to the hospital when he's done with another woman...

And he left me ice cream. Maybe things aren't so bad afterall.

Today I meet with the Irish National Boss and Captian to tender my resignation from International Quidditch. I wanted to let you lot know before the news hits the tabloids. Whatever reasons or rumors the mill churns up know that this is not a decision made out of choice, but necessity, as I have contracted a parasite which makes flying impossible. I hope to return to the pitch as soon as possible, but it may never be an option. I do not expect Ireland to hold my place as this is far too competitive a game and the World Cup looms ever closer.

Please do not ask questions of me regarding this obligated decision. I suspect, that with time, things will start to make sense, but I am really in no position at the moment to discuss the situation in any further detail. As my loved ones, I simple did not want you to be blindsided by the news.

I want a Christmas tree. Only 22 days left!

Been feeling a bit off, lately. I keep expecting a cold to come on; the snow has started here and yet we continue training. But if it's the beginning of a bug, it hasn't progressed in the last week. Just... achy. Lethargic. Like my body's preparing for a fever that never comes. Hate this wintry condition. I just want to warm up.

What are you folks doing to keep warm this winter?

Now that the British season is over, we should throw a party. I bet there's lots of Quidditch players out there with energy to burn.

Themed perhaps? Raunchy or respectable?

I am so bored. BORED. Even work is boring right now. We've got a lull in matches until December. That so bloody far away it's like the end of time to me.

I need a pet project. Any thoughts?

I think I may need to ease up on the drinking. Or the bacon. Having overindulged both in recent history has caused me to gain a few pounds, and when you only weight 7 stone to begin with, 3 pounds feels like a LOT.

We lost. We fucking lost. It was absolutely rubbish! After all these years you'd think I wouldn't be so surprised when we don't qualify.

Plus side? Now we're out the tournie, Angie and I have three whole days before our portkey home. I plan on living in delicious sin, basking on the beach and drinking a load of colourful cocktails with little straw hats. At the very least, it's nice to be here with Angelina sharing some quality girl-on-girl time.

Guess who's back in Auld Blighty! Staying in Scotland a few days, then back to Ireland to see Tash and Callum for a bit, maybe down to Dingle if I can swing it before the tournie. I leave for India on 23/06, so if anyone wants to hook up, just give us a shout. I'm ready for a spot of good ol' British lager.
